Version 5.1.11 of CourtStream is officially available as of June 13, 2007 @5:30pm EST.

We are happy to introduce a huge list of updates to the CourtStream Application. Below are some of the bigger items that have been implemented in this version.

Case Manager Enhancements:
    - New Application: Drug Test Addition
        - Added new "Drug Test" Tab to Client Screen
        - Added Drug Tests to "Activity Log"
        - Added Help Files (and Video) about the Drug Test Application
          Click the "?" (Help Icon in the upper-right)
        - Added 3 new Data Sources for Reporting:
            - Case: Drug Test
            - Case: Drug Test Drugs
            - Case: Drug Test - JABG Drug Test Report
        - Added Drug Test options to the Administration Screen
            - Drugs, Kits and Actions

    - Court Order Changes
        - New "On Finalize" Logic
        - Added Element Type of "Charges are Adjudication and Disposition"
    
    - Consent Calendar Agreements
        - Review date may be edited after finalization
        - Case note may be added from there

    - Offenses
        - Added "Referred to Formal" functionality

    - Contact Log Enhancements:
        - Removed "What was Found"
        - Associate a Drug Test with a Contact Log Entry

    - Case Notes Enhancements:
        - Removed from a Pop-up Window (quicker)

    - Audit Log Enhancements:
        - Faster AJAX Interface
        
Reporting Enhancements:
    - Combined the Button Options into a cleaner interface
    - On Mouse Over, it shows the extended options.
    - Saves room on the screen
    
Documents & Files Enhancements:
    - Added Email Notifications on the Folder Level
    - Faster AJAX Interface for some of the screens

General Enhancements:
    - New "XP-like" Login Screen for CourtStream
    - A few minor Look and Feel tweaks (more of a Web 2.0 feel).
    - Added the ability to include Video Help Files

 The CourtStream enhancement team has been working diligently to bring the latest and greatest in technology to make your jobs as efficient as possible.  Below is a list of enhancements effective 6/14/07:

• Ability to do adjudication/dispo under one paragraph.  A new paragraph has been added (paragraph 9) which states:  “ADJUDICATION AND DISPOSITION ARE BEING HELD ON THE FOLLOWING:”.  In the past you would select the adjudication paragraph and the charges, and then select the disposition paragraph and the same charges again.  Now it will all be done under one paragraph when it occurs simultaneously.
• Charges will not show a plea until an order gets finalized.  Previously when the court order was prepared it would update the offense screen with a plea.  Now this will only take place when the order is signed and finalized.
• The system will automatically populate the adjudication/disposition information on the offense screen.  Previously clerical staff were manually updating this information.
• Referring a petition from consent to formal.  This is will be done under the offenses tab.  It will track the date made formal and give you the ability to view the prior consent agreement through an icon under the offense.
• Ability to extend consent agreements and add a case note at the same time.  This is a new feature.  The caseworker can just go to the court order screen and “edit” the consent agreement.  You are limited in that you may only modify the “review date” and can at that time add a case note.  When you click save the review date will be updated on the summary screen and a case note will be added.
• If a pickup order expires the system will alert the primary caseworker and their supervisor.  At that time the worker needs to do a new order if they still want one in effect.
• Drug Test – a new tab has been added for entry of drug testing information.  On-line help is available by clicking on “BizStream Community” in the task bar in the lower right hand of your screen.
• Remove what was found.  In the contact log section the “remove what was found” option will no longer be available.  Historical data will not be affected.
• New log-in screen - your screen will just look a little different.
