    Out of County detainments

The flow of the out of county process seems a little off.  What happens is that I create a request for detention, fill out the out of county sheet and then have to open a new case.

If we reach the point of filling the out of county sheet, the detainment is granted and I am wondering if there is some way the system can open a new case once I select out of county and then fill the out of county information sheet?

I don't think we should then get bumped back to open a new case.  Thoughts?

    Hey Andy,

Yeah, we can definitely re-evaluate the way the process/flow works. We could automatically create the case when "Out Of County" is selected. We can discuss this at the next detention meeting. There are a few "Request for Detention" types we might want to deal with differently.

    Thanks,

    Re: Out of County detainments

Based on the detention meetings notes, there are times were an Out Of County request is made but Out Of County request is denied or the client does not show up (due to transportation issue or other issues), in both of these cases a new case will not be opened.  Additionally, there was a need identified to have a report that showes the details of the out of county request (accepted or denied. Section 8.1 Report Number 4).
