The
problem is that the popup is too big for your screen, and the current way we’re
using popups doesn’t handle that very well. It's a known issue and the fix for it is actually going to be rolled out to Beta tonight, and Live in a week or two. Until then there are a few things you can do to get around this
issue.
- The best thing you could do is
increase your screen’s resolution. If you need help with that, you may either
call your IT Help desk or I can walk you through it as well. You probably have your resolution set at 800 x 600, which is on the small
side. The most common setting right now is 1024 x 768. This makes the stuff on
your screen a little smaller, and it might take a while to get used to, but you
can fit a lot more on there and it should make your life a lot easier. (You’ll
be doing a whole lot less scrolling if you make this
change.)
- If your Internet Explorer window
isn’t already maximized, maximize it with the button at the top right of the
Internet Explorer window.
- Here is a temporary work-around. If
you hover your mouse over the title bar of the “New Case Note” box it turns into
a “move” icon. You can move the popup up and it will snap to the bottom of the
popup where you can select the send alert users and hit submit. To get back to
the top of the box, just scroll the screen up or down and it will snap back to
the top.
